Why is obtaining testimonials important?
Student testimonials are a huge part of showcasing the work School is Easy does. It gives students
a chance to show off what they’ve achieved and feel proud of themselves, and it also shows your
customer base all the amazing work you do!
How can I obtain testimonials?
We’ve created three separate forms that you can share with your customers or staff to encourage them to leave feedback and submit photos or videos to us. There's a form for parents, a form for students, and a form for staff or tutors. These forms are attached to the bottom of this article and can be downloaded from there. This should not take the place of requesting a Google or Facebook review, as those are extremely important for your digital presence! Think of this as the next step after someone leaves you a Google or Facebook review or as part of your exit interview process.
There are a few ways you can go about distributing these forms:
- Send parents a personalized email and include the form requesting a testimonial. We would suggest sending this to the clients who have been with you the longest, as those stories show longevity and are great to showcase more in-depth.
- Make it a goal for your tutors to request a testimonial after a certain number of sessions
- Create an automated email within your client email drip campaign requesting a testimonial
- If sessions are in-person, have the form printed and completed by hand.
- Create a small flyer with a QR code on it to direct staff or students to one of the forms.
- During employee evaluations, distribute the form to your staff.
What are the requirements for testimonials?
In order to use testimonials from your location in our campaigns, we must have either a photo or a video with each testimonial. This really paints an entire picture and tells the student’s whole story. We will not be able to publish a testimonial without this.
At the bottom of our forms, we request permission from the client submitting the testimonial for their permission to include any information and media provided in our marketing efforts. Permission is always required.
