Having a sales packet to drop off at schools is an important tool for gaining traction among school administrators in your market. Although your goal will be to meet the Decision Maker face to face, there will be times when leaving a packet of information will be your only option. By preparing a few of these packets ahead of time and keeping them in your vehicle and office, you’ll be ready to pitch School is Easy whenever necessary.
Your sales folder should consist of the following:
- A branded folder
- Your business card
- A trifold brochure
- A personally signed letter
- General flyer with services and pricing
- Most recent press release
Great additions to your folder include:
- A tutoring facts sheet
- Tutor bios
- Hard copies of news articles featuring SIE (national or local press)
- VIP Invitations to a Grand Opening, Open House Event, networking or webinar series
Be careful not to over-pack your folder, as an administrator or manager will only read so much.
It is recommended that you prepare several dozens of these folders and have them ready to go, adding the signed personalized letter when needed.
